Simon Youth Foundation: 2017 Monumental Marathon

Every year in the United States 1.2 million teenagers drop out of high school. These young people are 72% more likely to be unemployed and face a lifetime of poverty.

To help solve the drop-out crisis, Simon Youth Foundation (SYF), a nationwide nonprofit, was founded to help students who are at-risk of dropping out of high school reach their graduation day and pursue a post-secondary education and career.

SYF partners with more than 20 public school districts around the country, supporting 30 Simon Youth Academies in 12 states, and growing. Here in Central Indiana we have founded 3 Academies located at Circle Centre Mall, Edinburgh Premium Outlets, and in Whiteland in partnership with Greenwood Park Mall.

Since 1998, SYF has maintained a 90% graduation rate, while graduating more than 15,660 students, and awarded more than $17 million in post-secondary scholarships.

Please join us by starting a fundraising page and supporting more students as they work hard toward graduating and achieving their dreams as you train to reach your personal best!
